A Management Information System (MIS) is an integrated system of people, technology, and procedures that collects, processes, stores, and distributes information to support decision-making, coordination, and control in an organisation.

Hardware, OS, enterprise software, networking, data management. Cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) transforms infrastructure.
